![]() Jake's Clever Banter Yeah, did this strip myself (Jesus, it's hard to do an inverted Pikachu tail). I was trying to think of stuff that'd be the closest to what the characters actually are, and I thought it would be cool to make fun of Tim's art style (Tim and Cas looking quite often like Shinji and Kaji). And just what the heck can a stick figure dress up as? Well, another stick figure, of course! Meantime, I got Grand Theft Auto 3 last night, and you can bet your booty I'll be playing it today (And Tony Hawk 3, too, if I can get ahold of a copy). Too much good stuff... Oh, and before I forget, today, in the spirit of halloween, we have one very scary guest strip by Anonymous Genius, and one cute piece of gift art from Yahiko. I know we've said it a zillion times before, but you guys rock! 10/29/01 - FINALLY! Well, looks like Tim got off his ass. It's about damn time. Really, between chasing down cute girls and wasting time on, of all things, homework, I think he has his priorities all F-ed up. Really, a webcomic with a handfull of readers is far more important than the pathetic existence his real life is, so why fight reality? Anyways, going on to other stuff, my store STILL hasn't gotten Grand Theft Auto 3 *Grumbles*, but my time's been gobbled up by my new computer anyways. I just LOVE this thing! Incidentally, I know that a fellow webcomic artist is having trouble with Win XP, but the only compatability issues I've run into so far are my scanner and homeportal (Both due to lack of hardware drivers). I should make a note of that for a moment. I've taken the liberty of adding Amphetamine to my links page, as it's storyline so far, much like Megatokyo, is somewhat intoxicating and enticing... And in other webcomic news, NoRTH is apparently becoming North, a completely different webcomic with completely different characters. It hasn't started up yet, but if the quality of writing remains as it was before, and the quality of art looks anything like what's on that page, it could be absolutely incredible. I'll definetly be keeping an eye on it. Meantime, let's all cross our fingers and hope Tim actually STAYS back this time |
![]() Tim's Clever Banter Yup, I'm back in the flak! Woo! First off, I wanna' apologize again for being a late late late late late late late late late late late late late late late late late late late late late late late late late late late late late late late late late late late late late late late late late late bastard, but I'm just mean that way. But I wanna' tell you peoples, throughout all of this mess, Jake has been there trying fervereerently... rehrverent... fer.. fehr... trying hard, to keep things amusing while I was gone. You know how much that contest cost him? Lots, that's how much! So I just want to take a moment to tell you how great Jake really is. He's my own personal hero. When I grow up, I want to be like Jake. He is my inspiration, my guide, and my mentor. He is the one person I respect the most in the world. I would die for Jake. Let's expand on that last one. Oh, that I only have one life to give for Jake. I would take a bullet for Jake. I would drink poison, get burned alive, be boiled in acid, have my limbs cut off, my head decapitated, and have my bones crushed for Jake. Ouch... I hope no one holds me to that.
To me, Jake is more than a co-worker. He's a friend. He's a hero. He's a SUPERhero! He is my god. All praise the almighty wonderful Jake! I officially declare this Jake Day, in honor of the most generous, kind-hearted, industrious, noble, selfless man to ever walk the planet. I- |
