Metropolis, on the other hand, is fuggin' fantastic. Watch it, sucka'. 4/26/02 - YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! It's confirmed. I'm in the system. I'm goin' to E3, baby! Woooooo! Despite a lot of mistakes on my part and a looooong wait, now I'm finally about to acheive something I've been working towards for probably all year (I found out just after last E3 that my employment at CompUSA is grounds enough to consider me "In the industry"). Now I just need to borrow a good digital camera, and find a decent free web service that works on a Mac (My only laptop)... hmmmmm... Switching topics here, I'm beggin' you guys to enter our contest. We only have two entries so far- that's pathetic! I'm already starting to reconsider doing contests on this 'site for a while. With a turnout like this, there's just no reason. *Sigh*... 4/24/02 - Introducing... Jeff! First off, let me bug you again about the contest. Enter, fool! I only have one entry so far! ONE! You guys are making me look pathetic! OK, Jeff. Jeff is based on someone that's one of the freinds in the Tim-Ish circle over in New Jersey or Ohio or wherever the heck they live. Anyways, Jeff is a strange one. You see that hat he's wearing? Tim says he wears one like that in real life. And he's not a dad. Well... OK, so maybe that's not painting the full picture, but trust me, he's strange. 4/22/02 - Oh, you guys... You people really frustrate me sometimes. I mean, shii-at, free stuff. I give-a you cool stuff, you give-a me nothing. That's not a bad deal, right? Gaw. It seems like every contest I have, I end up getting the majority of the entries at the end of the timeframe for it. I'm not asking anyone to do anything drastic. All ya' have to do is bitch about my award choices, something some of you have already taken to doing in the forum (Although I'm glad to see the forum get some use, this is still distressing). The contest ends this Friday, and so far I have ONE entry. So that means that so far, this guy wins by default. Don't let that happen! C'mon! Free stuff! Anyways, going on to other things, we actually have another new comic today, if you can even remember when we left off. To refresh, we just got back from the Eva arc. And boy are my arms tired. Yeah, well. Shut up. Oh, and I saw Changing Lanes and The Scorpion King lately. Changing Lanes was good, but didn't meet the potential it had. It seems there was a good idea here, but for one reason or another, no one felt the need to really push it. Overall, a good movie, but not extremely compelling. The Scorpion King, I was expecting to hate. I mean, it stars the frickin' Rock, for crissakes. And I have little respect for anything Pro Wrestling (Hulk Hogan, Mike Haggar and Tina Bower discluded). In the end, though, The Scorpion King is extremely enjoyable on an incredibly brainless level (We're talking bad accents, cookie-cutter characters and plot holes so big you could drive a mack truck through 'em). Regardless, though, The Rock actually does a good job making it all work (Although I cringe at the thought of him thinking of himself as an actor), and Kelly Hu is soooooo hot, even though it's obvious that she's just there to be blantantly exploited. Meantime, E3 draws ever nearer, and I STILL haven't gotten confirmation yet! I mean, technically, I'm supposed to wait ten days and it's only been five, but it still all makes me nervous. I hope I can go, I hope I can go, I hope I can go...
